PDBC Light

PDBC Light is a mixed dragon boat crew for paddlers over 50 years of age. This program is ideal for athletes who have been absent from the sport for several years, as well as beginners with a desire to learn about paddling in a dragon boat. PDBC Light will begin their season in mid-April with 2 indoor pool sessions and 1 indoor paddle (PERG) session.

 

Winter:

Pool Paddling @ Afterburn Fitness Centre

Sunday April 19 and 26th, 2026

  • 9:00am - 10:00am

PERG Training @ Paddle Zone

Sunday May 3rd, 2026

  • 9:00am - 10:00am

Summer:

Dragon Boat Practices @ Frenchman’s Bay Marina

May 11th, 2026 - August 24th, 2026

  • Mondays, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

 

Regattas

  • Welland Hope Floats Challenge - August 8th

 

 

Fees:

Seasonal Fee: $360.00 (HST included) 

Payment can be made by cash, cheque, email money transfer or by credit card via PayPal. Please note that all PayPal payments incur an additional 2.9% convenience fee.
